HOGY TUNA HARNESS JIG

The Hogy Harness Jig can be slow jigged or trolled to catch bluefin tuna and other tough pelagic predators. It is carefully balanced to ensure a natural drop and retrieve and features a custom 500lb test stainless steel harness that connects the 6X strong VMC Barbarian 7/0 Live Bait Hook to the built in 240 lb ball bearing swivel in the nose. The harness extends the hook back into the bait just enough to minimize counter productive tail snags and ensure positive hook ups. The Hogy Harness Jig features replaceable Harness Speed Tails which are available in a range of UV colours. If the lure tail is damaged you can quickly replace it and get back to fishing. The tough plastic harness speed tails are infused with UV additives to improve visibility to gamefish in low light conditions. When paired with the Harness jig head, the speed tails replicate the movements of the prey species that the bluefin tuna are feeding on.
