| 1) Run the line through the hook eye, allowing 6 or 8 inches(15-20 centimetres) of line to form the knot. Form a loop with the tag line end as shown right. |
2) Use 5 turns if your line is under 37kg (80lb). 3 – 4 turns would be sufficient when using heavier line.
3) Lubricate with saliva and pull tight.
