West Coast Custom Popping Rods are designed to cast jigs, baits and poppers to tuna, sailfish and other midweight predators.
Super strong blanks are built from 24 Tonne Carbon and E-Glass with 3K woven Carbon outer blank wraps for ultimate hoop strength. High quality components feature Alps aluminium reel seat and ALPS BXNZG guides with Alconite inserts. Guides are oversized to allow smooth casting of heavy leaders and lures up to 200 Grammes. A pronounced tip action encourages long casts while maintaining a reserve of fish fighting power further down the blank.

Two models cover lures from 30 – 200 Gram and lines from 30 – 100 lb making them perfect sporting tools for UK shark & smaller bluefin tuna as well as Tarpon, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Yellowtail and Giant Trevally.
