The Hogy Barbarian Paddle tail jig is designed for tuna casting, jigging and trolling but has become a popular lure amongst UK anglers fishing in Norway for big cod, pollock and halibut. This ultra-durable pre-rigged soft bait features a flexible paddle tail that triggers marine predators to strike.
With a strong 7/0 VMCÂ Barbarian Tuna hook the Barbarian Paddle tail eel is tough enough for school bluefin tuna, mahi mahi, halibut and can be included as part of a trolling spread or slow jigged when they’re sulking and holding down deep.
Paddle Tail Softbaits are infused with UV for greater visibility and presentation. These paddle tail lures are a great replication of fleeing launce, mackerel, scad, bonito, false albacore and more.
Hogy have now deleted these great lures from their range so when these are sold there won’t be any more.
